Security

You may already know that the 2006 version of Elxis had built-in features to increase security. The most important of these features were the XSS and SQL injection attack Protection, the security images (Captcha) and the Flood Protection (Flood Blocker). The 2008 version is equipped with an even powerful security and better control over your webpage.

A new tool, called Logins Recorder, informs you for successful or unsuccessful log-in attempts made towards your webpage. You are now aware of the identity of the person who tried to log in, their IP address, the time of the attempt, which browser was using and if they managed to log-in in the end. Except from the Logins Recorder, the very page of the Elxis administration log-in page can now be hidden. The ability to Cloak the administration log-in page, makes the attempt of someone not authorized to the Elxis administration console, impossible to achieve. The real log-in page is secret, only known to you, and in its place a simple message is shown.
